Checking It Out

I'm taking a much needed break from key chains to introduce you to this wonderful little quilt.

Crafted from squares of Tanya Whelen prints and Kona cotton white the quilt is my loose interpretation of a buffalo plaid.

The backside is a pink minky dot - so, so, so soft.

The quilt is quilted with big loops on a long arm quilting machine. I'm still getting to know the machine, which I purchased last month, so the quilt isn't perfect ... but I am super happy with how it turned out.

So about that long-arm quilting machine. I came across a for sale ad through Facebook for the Tin Lizzie long arm quilting machine and frame for $650, and only about an hour and a half from home. Had to get it! It is huge, no doubt about that, but so totally worth it. I've had so much fun practicing on it and getting used to it. I'm so excited to see how this will benefit me and my brands.

Find the quilt in the Jude Harbor shop or the Jude Harbor Etsy shop.
