Playing with Pinwheels

More pictures here ... I'm going to try to retake them tomorrow, depending on the weather. I went outside to take some shots and started to get eaten alive by mosquitos so these were taken indoors and didn't come out very well ... but I'm not completely covered in bug bites.

Finished the binding on this one while cruising in the Gulf of Mexico. Tough weekend this was, I tell ya. My parents took their children (and spouses) and grandchildren on a 4 day cruise to Cozumel to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The 17 of us ate, line danced, ate, swam, ate, karaoked, ate - you get the picture ... and had an all around awesome time. Hopefully I'll get some pictures posted of the trip sometime this week. (one little note: cruising with an 18 month old is fun, but challenging .... I won't be taking him again until he's a little older)

  1. You quilts are just beautiful! I have one of your original quilts, plus a pirate quilt "oopsie" that you threw in for good measure. So I can say "I knew you when..." I hope the quilts of yours that I own have increased in value! {smile}
