I'd love to be all witty and wonderful but I think I'll go for staightforward instead...
December 16th is the date of the anticipated arrival of our newest child.
I'm 8 weeks along and things are going well (except that I'm old and considered "advanced maternal age" ... that doesn't sound complimentary). We saw the heartbeat today, such a beautiful thing.
Hopefully the bouts of exhaustion and little bits of morning sickness (don't throw anything at me ... it hasn't been bad at all) will explain my lack of sewing and creativity over the last month.
We're all very happy and excited and the name arguing has begun.

Congratulations!! How exciting. I see little babies now and wish we had another one but we're all done. I bet the kids are very excited!

ReplyDeleteI love reading your blogs and seeing all the cool items you make. Hope the 2nd and 3rd trimesters bring you tons of creativity :)
BTW, is this the other little project you had in the works after ditto-kiddo was to close???
Thanks Amber and Jenny!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, this is that project! I found out a week before the store closed, but didn't want to say anything until we saw a hearbeat.
Congratulations! I'm expecting my 4th right now - isn't hearing the heartbeat the most amazing thing? Brings tears to my eyes every time. :0)
