My oldest son has entered double digits, turning 10 years old today. Wow.



A very happy birthday wish to my smart, funny, quirky, handsome, creative, energetic I. I love you so much and I'm so proud to be your Mom.

As a side note, all of my kids are even-numbered ages (4, 6, 8, 10, and 14) until K.'s birthday in March. And all the boys were born on the 14th day of different months ... coincidence? ... not really, all the kids were c-sections and we were able to schedule the last two on the 14th ... it helps friends and relatives have at least a vague idea of when the kids birthday's are (we don't expect anyone outside the immediate family to keep track of five birthdays!), and, let's face it, it helps us keep things straight too.
