Chocolate Covered Kiwi

Yes, a more aesthetically pleasing photo would have been created by trimming off the edges of the chocolate. But waste chocolate? I think not.

Kiwi and chocolate are amazing together. Such a treat.

The peeled sliced kiwi was frozen, then dipped into homemade "Magic Shell" topping, and chilled in the refrigerator until served.

Homemade Magic Shell
8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 T coconut oil

Combine the chips and the coconut oil and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir, heat for an additional 30 seconds.
Store in the pantry. Do not refrigerate. I store ours in a ketchup-type dispenser from the dollar store. If it gets hard in the container just microwave it for a few seconds.
This stuff is so delicious.
